What is a PEPSI Analysis?
Being able to look at an event from multiple perspectives is extremely valuable as an historian. One method of
categorizing an analysis is to employ the acronym, PEPSI: political, economic, psychological,
sociological, and ideological variables. This will become a preferred (but not the only) method to
consider throughout the school year.

- If analysis is considered so vitally important, what skills
are linked to it? In other words, what do you have be able to do before being able to analyze?
